The Academy provides access and enrols students on the Post 16 Extended Outreach Programmes run by the University of Sheffield. These include:

Discover Law
Discover Social Sciences
STEM (Science, Engineering and Maths)
SOAMS (Access to Medicine Schemes)
In addition the Academy makes use of the Yorkshire Excellent Hub to support subject areas.
